Includes Windows, Linux, and MacOS, and Xbox support. Odamex is easy to set up, has total oldschool DOOM compatibility support, and has several tools and a helpful community. All you need is a copy of Doom, Doom 2, or any other Doom iwad to just throw into your Odamex folder. These files can be found wherever you have the corresponding iwad's games installed. And yes, Doom from Steam does work!

Odamex Features Include:
*Client/Server architecture that supports up to 255 players.
*Quake-style features such as a console.
*Complete BOOM and dehacked support.
*On-the-fly wad downloading from the server to the client.
*Able to load multiple wads in rotation. Make a server with all 12 dwango wads in rotation with them replacing each other!
*Doom game modes and a few new ones:
-Cooperative
-Deathmatch (& altdeath)
-Team Deathmatch
-Duel
-Capture the Flag (CTF)




Odamex is open source via the GNU/GPL License 2 and tries to make a fun, easy-to-use multiplayer environment that tries to emulate to the original DOOM.exe as closely as possible while retaining the newschool features that have improved Doom over the years. Odamex is built with SDL, so it can be built and ran on any OS that SDL and SDL_mixer supports.
